可動な床と連動するフレームにより、人々の所作が周囲のミラーパネルのゆらめきとなる茶室。
ミラノデザインウィークにて制作・展示。
主に構造・施工を担当した。
ミラーパネルを固定するための細いテグスが、同時にブレースとしても効くことで成立する構造。
Grand Prize, ABLE DESIGN AWARD – World Competition. Collaborators: Nanaru Kimura, Taku Oba. A teahouse in which a moving floor, linked to a surrounding frame, translates people's movements into a shimmer across the surrounding mirror panels. Exhibited during Milan Design Week. Shimoda's role: primarily structural design and construction.
